Imagine: you serve for an elected official, but YOU who are the one often tasked to provide responses to questions from the public or media. What does it take to be an effective government spokesperson?
Join the Buffalo Niagara Chapters of PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) and ASPA (American Society for Public Administration) on Wednesday, March 24 at noon for a joint panel discussion with the following professionals:
- Peter Anderson, Press Secretary, Office of the Erie County Executive
- Molly Hirschbeck, Communications Director, New York State Senator Tim Kennedy
- Theresa Kennedy, Communications Director, Office of U.S. Congressman Brian Higgins
Learn how the panelists' educational background and work experience helped them achieve their current positions. Explore how the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the landscape of interactions with media.
