About Maura
Maura Devlin is an award-winning PR and Marketing strategist with 15+ years of experience in media relations, integrated marketing communications, and strategic planning. In her role as VP of marketing strategy and public relations, Maura oversees the planning and execution of 43North’s brand building and awareness amplification initiatives to recruit founders, build relationships with investors and engage the WNY community in 43North’s mission. She also serves as an advisor offering strategic counsel and marketing support to 43North’s 60+ portfolio companies. In 2021, Maura was an Executive Producer of the 43North documentary For the Love of Buffalo, overseeing the fundraising and production of the film.

Prior to moving into the startup and venture capital space, Maura spent the bulk of her career on the agency side at Ketchum in Chicago, IL and later, at Mower in Buffalo, NY. Throughout her career, she has supported a wide variety of brands such as Kleenex, Cottonelle, Best Buy, and GE, spearheading a multitude of campaigns with examples ranging from experiential brand activations with New Kids on the Block to storytelling efforts for GE’s digital sales transformation. Maura serves on the boards of King Center Charter School and Pitch Hamburg and serves as an advisor on the marketing committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters WNY chapter.
