About Our Speaker —
Jennifer K. Fortune turned an internship while at Allegheny College into a 30-year career in media research, planning and buying, working at a number of upstate New York advertising agencies as well as national media company, Nielsen. She most recently held the position of Media Director at a Buffalo agency, where she oversaw the media and public relations teams and assisted with daily agency operations. In her role, she used a data-informed approach to provide strategic, creative and cost-effective marketing solutions for clients across a variety of industries including healthcare, education and food manufacturing, and made investment recommendations for both traditional and digital media platforms. She obtained a master’s degree in public relations management from Buffalo State University, which affords her the opportunity to teach as an adjunct communications professor there and at Niagara University. In 2023, Jen left her agency position to fulfill a lifelong dream of starting her own consulting firm, One Fortune Media.
