Internal audiences can be the most important “publics” in your organization. It stands to reason that if your own people can’t accurately communicate your positioning, how can you expect outsiders to “get it?” But gone are the days of all-hands meetings, monthly newsletters and annual cash bonuses (sorry, Clark Griswold). So, what can be done to create buy-in or make employees more excited about coming to work each day? How do you communicate with them in the age of instant mass communications?
Our first event of the annual Sunrise Seminars focuses on best practices in internal communications and will feature three local pros who will explore implementation of:
A web-based magazine that replaces a paper newsletter. An intranet site that serves as a one-stop shop for news, forms, meeting times, and more.A (cost-effective) peer recognition program that shines a light on staffers that go above-and-beyond.
There’s no question this workshop will provide you with new ideas, practical tips for implementation, and exciting ways to breathe new life into your organization’s internal communications efforts.
