Kickoff PRSA Buffalo Niagara's 50^th Anniversary year with our "50 Helping Hands" event scheduled for Saturday, April 13.  Be one of 50 volunteers from our chapter who will spend the morning giving back to the community, assisting Re-Tree WNY by planting trees in the area near Buffalo’s Medical Corridor. 

Founded in the aftermath of the October Storm of 2006, Re-Tree WNY has a stated mission of re-planting thousands of the trees damaged by the storm throughoutWestern New York.

Training begins at 8:30 a.m., planting begins at 9 a.m., and is expected to conclude by 10:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet at 941 Washington Street in Buffalo, and there will be a tent set up in that parking lot. The chapter will even throw in a free commemorative T-shirt for all chapter volunteers. 

Showing pride in our chapter's accomplishments? Check. Acting as a positive force in our community? Check. Camaraderie over coffee? Check. What else could you ask for? If you’re interested in being one of our 50 volunteers, then register for this volunteer opportunity by noon on April 6.
