To help celebrate PRSA Buffalo Niagara Chapter’s 50^th anniversary, PRSA President William (Bill) Murray (shown below) will attend the chapter’s Golden Gala on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Pearl at the Webb, 76 Pearl Street, Buffalo.

Murray’s congratulatory remarks will highlight a celebration that will include entertainment provided by a jazz quartet from the St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, a video featuring the chapter’s past presidents and fun and lively trivia about the chapter’s first five decades.

Chapter members Tom Lucia and Jeff Paterson, APR will serve as the program’s co-emcees and promise to bring an appropriate mix of decorum and wit to the occasion, befitting this important milestone in the chapter’s history and characteristic of the chapter’s propensity to share a good laugh.

The gala begins with a cash bar at 6 p.m., followed by food stations at 7 p.m. and speakers’ remarks and video at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 per guest, and include dinner, two drinks, and an anniversary gift. A cash bar will be available at 8:30 p.m., following the program, as well.
