This program – part presentation, part panel discussion, part Q&A – presents public relations professionals an opportunity to learn what matters most to niche populations and how to better communicate with them.

Tim Moran has been Editor and Publisher of Outcome Buffalo since 1998. He has been bringing Western New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) people the major news and issues that affect their lives each day, Marriage Equality, Employment Discrimination, Hate Crimes, Gay Pride, Bias based murder and crime are all the realities of LGBT people in Western New York and Moran has always sought to bring the real news to the attention of its readers. Outcome Buffalo currently reaches over 15.000 unique readers each month. The largest LGBT news source in Upstate New York State.

Edwin Martinez, Owner, Panorama Hispano
Edwin Martinez is the owner and Emeritus Publisher of Panorama Hispano News Media, LLC. Panorama Hispano News founded in 1992 is the largest publisher of free monthly Hispanic community newspapers and online news service. The newspaper, along with online news, is published for readers in Western New York and Erie, Pennsylvania, and delivers more than 30,000 hardcopy newspapers each month to homes, business and community partners. Online we engage over 38,000 online readers across WNY, Erie, Pennsylvania and across the United States. Working with affiliated publications, Buffalo News, Community Papers of WNY (Metro Group) and New America Media, we are able to provide this form of saturation delivery to over 68,000 readers across the region.

Eva M. Doyle, Columnist, The Buffalo Critierion
Eva M. Doyle is a retired Buffalo Public School teacher with 30 years classroom teaching experience. She retired in June, 2004. She presently lectures extensively on topics in African and African American history throughout the Western New York area. She is also a columnist for the oldest Black newspaper in Western New York - The Criterion. Her column Eye On History is now in its 35th year of publication. Eye On History is the only weekly, consistent column on African American History in Western New York. It began in the Challenger newspaper in 1979 and continues today in the Criterion. The column has also appeared in the Chicago Defender, the African American Chronicle, The Rochester Communicade, the Palm Beach Gazette in Florida, Class Magazine and the Buffalo News.

Ellen Goldstein, APR, Managing Editor, Jewish Journal of WNY
Ellen Goldstein is Managing Editor for the Jewish Journal of WNY, and the Marketing and Community Relations Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo. In this capacity she is responsible for all the editorial content of the 48-page monthly publication, deals with the web page and other marketing issues of the Jewish Federation and its United Jewish Fund Campaign, and directs the community relations program which deals with interfaith and intrafaith issues, Israel, and the Buffalo Jewish Coalition for Literacy volunteer project, and other Tikkun Olam (or repairing the world) projects. She has worked in the advertising, public relations and community relations field for more than 30 years, and received accreditation from PRSA in 1994. Together with her husband Mitch Flynn, Ellen helped to found the award-winning local advertising agency Flynn & Friends in 1986.
